Delete your account
You can delete your QuranSathi account and all associated personal data at any time.
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Open QuranSathi on your phone.
- Go to Settings (the gear icon in the bottom tab bar).
- Scroll to Account.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Option 2 — By email
If you cannot access the app, email support@quransathi.com with the subject line "Delete my QuranSathi account" and include the phone number your account is registered to. We will process the request within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your phone number and display name from our authentication records.
- Your sign-in record and session tokens.
What stays on your device until you uninstall
The following data lives only on your phone, never on our servers. Deleting your account does not remove it from your device. To remove it, uninstall the app or clear app data from your phone's settings.
- Hifz (memorization) progress
- Ramadan fasting log
- Hajj step completion
- Zakat calculator inputs and history
- Bookmarks, last-read position, theme preferences
Recovery
Account deletion is final and cannot be undone. If you sign in again later with the same phone number, a new (empty) account will be created.
